Just picked up this great little book on the xerox experiments of Italian designer, Bruno Munari. Looking through the pages, it only further convinces me that older technologies will always have a place in the process of making.

Love it. Reminds me of Warhol’s 500 prints of Mao done off a xerox back when it came out. Each one was different because he’d adjust the zoom on it each time. By the end of the run Mao was so distorted you didn’t even know what you were looking at.
It’s nice that these xerographes, though, are in color. Total pop to the images.
i wish i had this
munari is amazing
Munari was a brilliant person, an amazing teacher and an unstoppable innovator.
Did you know that Picasso once said about Munari that he was the new Lionardo?
You can study his work for decades and still finding so many things.
BTW, your blog rocks, guys. Thanks for all the things you’re sharing.
