ICE CREAM FOR FREE™ is a design studio in Berlin. It’s primarily Oliver Wiegner, who started it up with some friends out of school, and apparently now flies solo.
I’m sure most everyone’s heard Mouse On Mars before, but being a favorite, I though I’d post up a couple tracks. These guys have been around since 94, comprised of German duo Jan St. Werner and Andi Toma. Their live set is amazing, performing as a full band with drummer Dodo Nkishi rocking a giant afro with headphones who absolutely doesn’t miss a beat.
Niun Niggung – Disk Dusk
Radical Connector – Wipe That Sound
Cool work from Brooklyn-based Wyeth Hansen. Be sure to check out his motion graphics. He has some nice videos for The Rapture and Mobius Band. I especially like the AIGA Move 3 videos.
We’ve been asked to throw up a small mention for an upcoming poster exhibition held by the London College of Communication.
The exhibition displays 30 A1 posters produced by 30 creative individuals from throughout Europe, each offering their own interpretation of a day in June. As a collective the posters present a unique insight into the month of June, covering a variety of creative disciplines and providing a range of personalized approaches.
