Paul Wagenblast is a designer and visualist in Portland, OR.  Really impressed with how well his work translates across many different mediums.

New music video for the new band We Have Band, directed by David Wilson in collaboration with Fabian Berglund and Ida Gronblom from Wieden + Kennedy London. Animated by mother/daughter duo Joanna and Katie Anne Harrison. All 4,816 frames from the final cut are up on Flickr as well.

Making of here.

Michael from Linefeed just added a nice little video post of what’s on their shelf for June, 2009.

Always interesting to see who’s behind the mtv Movie Awards titles. This year it was Prologue, directed by Ilya Abulhanov (who also directed the insanely cool 2009 OFFF titles). See the montage here. Via Motionographer.

David Lynch and his son Austin and his friend Jason took a 20,000 mile road trip across the US and shot 4-5 minute interviews with 121 strangers they met along the way. The project airs Monday on davidlynch.com, where there will be a new episode every 3 days. Catch the trailer, which is up now…

We seriously hope you enjoy it .

For many, Milton Glaser is the personification of American graphic design. Best known for co-founding New York Magazine and the enduring I ♥ NY campaign, the full breadth of Glaser’s remarkable artistic output is revealed in this documentary portrait, MILTON GLASER: TO INFORM AND DELIGHT. From newspapers and magazine designs, to interior spaces, logos, and brand identities, to his celebrated prints, drawings, posters and paintings, the documentary offers audiences a much richer appreciation for one of the great modern renaissance men.

Artfully directed by first time filmmaker Wendy Keys, the film glances into everyday moments of Glaser’s personal life and captures his immense warmth and humanity, and the boundless depth of his intelligence and creativity.
