To help our readers stuff their friends’ stockings this year, TSA is bringing you a weeklong series of posts on holiday gift ideas.
To start off I’m posting about a good friend of mine in Colorado, Jennifer Roberts, who runs a fantastic shop called Composition. It’s a storefront in the Belmar shopping center in Denver, though they also sell quite a lot of merchandise online through their nifty website. This is a great place to find some unique designer-friendly presents.
Brett Whitacre is a friend of ours from Chicago. Canvases include old tv sets, suitcases, windows, whatever he can find in an alley usually.
Ivana Martinovic has a nice diverse set of projects. I especially love the wine labels… Thanks for the link Ivana!
I’m loving the work by Joel Cocks. He knows his stuff. Here’s a snippet from his bio: When he was a bit younger, a boy at school made fun of Joel’s last name, Cocks, and so Joel punched him in the back of the head as he was walking away.. But generally he’s a pretty nice guy.
bestial© sent us a little note the other day…. really nice work. The TSA inbox has been teeming with great links – thanks everyone for getting in touch. I have a bunch to catch up on, so look for more in coming days.
